Happiness engulfs the otaku community as the official website for the Naruto franchise dropped the news on Thursday 9th of march that in order to commemorate its 20th anniversary, four “brand-new” episodes of the Naruto television anime will begin airing in September, together with some selected previous episodes which will return to japan in July.
The official twitter account for the Boruto anime franchose also released 3 new visual for the upcoming new naruto episodes in the name of celebrating the 20th anniversary of it predecessor “Naruto” .
Studio Pierrot also dropped a video titled “Road of Naruto” which summarized 20 years of Naruto anime history into 10 minutes and also showing new animation footage suspected to be from the new episodes about to be released. Here is the video below
