What Is AniWe?
AniWe is a Nigerian-born, community-driven universe celebrating anime, manga, cosplay, gaming, art, tech and storytelling from across the globe. Through conventions, watch parties, creative exchanges, and immersive experiences, we’re building a fun, safe, educative, and expressive space for African otaku to come together and be themselves.
Our Flagship Event: AniWeCon
AniWeCon is our yearly anime convention, and it is so much more than a gathering. It’s a celebration of fandoms, a stage for African cosplayers, and a platform for creators across media.
From our early days in 2013 and 2015 to explosive events like AniWeCon23: RAGE and upcoming AniWeCon25: Beyond Fury, we’ve grown into a major cultural touchpoint for Anime lovers in Nigeria and beyond.
